My Mobo/Ram is giving up on my i7 1366, any ideas for combo to replace with

Can't really seem to justify spending another £200 odd quid over a replacement mobo to replace the whole lot with sandybridge.

Was thinking along the lines of the sabertooth...

Any opinions please?

Gigabyte UD3R. One of the best bang per buck boards available for 1366.

The Sabretooth is a good board too I guess but the colour scheme is a bit odd for most :D

How long have you had your motherboard and your ram. My view is that both are still under warranty and will be replaced by the vendor.

BUT why do you think ram and motherboard are failing?

I'm 95% sure it is the mobo, which was to do with me putting a screwdriver through it 6 months ago, and it's hung on some how till now. I tend to rip hdd/cds out of it/put in as I need it.

Biostar T-Power Mobo

ah ok so a likely invalidated warranty the cheapest i see you getting away with is this

Yurka - that has really perked my day up no end.

Yeah pretty sure that would have a bad effect on any mobo. The giga board is the class act for that price. Has the same bios as the UD7 board by the way so overclocking if you want will not be a problem.
