How long Will intel continue to manafacture socket 775 chips in the future Now they have their new 1366 chips

As long as ppl are still buying enough of them to warrent intel making them i guess , cant see them becoming obsolete for a long while yet myself

Intel's mainstream Core i5 range launches Q4 this year, and if they're reasonably priced, expect socket 775 to die.

I cant see the 775 going any where in the near future, people need to remember we are into pc's and while i7 is drool factor normal uses will want to save the cash and go with older chip like the 775 with most cases will pwn their 5 year chips will be nice to see this e8700 ever comes about
