I am one not to overclock, but am wondering how people are doing it this time round with that e core p core malarky?
Have seen one with an evga board but got bit lost.Is there not a YouTube video for this cpu? It’s usually the easiest way to go about an overclock if you are not fully confident, especially with the new core configuration, as you say.

Which click setting please, the BIOs is slightly comprehensive for me.I have an Asus gaming F 690 board after having a read of verious articles I selected one click overclock in the bios went from 38500 in cine bench to 40500.
Right I have seen JJ do this on youtube. He also stated that you could amplify it from 100% to 105% to 110%, my question is how high can you go with this. theoretically)In the BIOS look at the very top for 'AI overclocking guide' if you press F7 it's easier to find. Read through the instructions, there's an option below to turn on 'AI overclock' the system might add it straight away, when you reboot it will say on the BIOS splash screen 'overclock xxx%' .
In either case boot in to Windows and run cine bench for 10 mins and reboot your PC it will apply the max overclock the AI can work out.
If you want a guide try this one https://www.overclock.net/threads/a...-13900k-a-tuning-guide-for-beginners.1801569/Right I have seen JJ do this on youtube. He also stated that you could amplify it from 100% to 105% to 110%, my question is how high can you go with this. theoretically)

it certainly isn't for beginners as the title suggests. On my Hero i now run my system at x57 all core which will boost upto x62. As already been said everything is temp related, With the Ai overclock it can appear that its running similar to my daily but what you will find is it will be downclocking considerably, most will not maintain x57 at full load due to temp constraints.
My 13900k is considered just above average with a global SP of 103 Pcores at 111 and ecores at 88, i can run at 5800mhz no probs but not worth the temps for long term and i have delidded my cpu, lapped the IHS and use a contact frame. Full load at x57 im at 81c (running cinebench for 10min test)
Most I had using ai was 73% but if I run my memories at 7000 C30 it drops to 61% and it isn't stable in all scenarios.Thank you for the comprehensive guide.
I saw somewhere someone use the ai overclocking guide as suggested and when booting his pc up it said overclocking 93%" . I assumed it would say over 100 something percent, can someone please clarify this?
