13900k undervolting/overclocking results

Any other owners care to share their settings including cinebench scores? Just had a play with mine for the first time yesterday and have seen most people mention 5.5ghz as doable but I’m struggling to get an all core of 5.4ghz with around 1.36v which is quite toasty.

What’s everyone else achieved and what were your cache, P core and e core numbers?

Disable MCE, set llc l4 dc_ll 1.02, ac_ll 0.2. Set your cpu to adaptive voltage -0.050. Then sync all performance cores to 5.5.
Using a maximus Hero board myself so your settings may be a little different to mine but it should give you a good start.

Personally i don't sync all cores as im not chasing numbers etc. I just set the TVB to +2

I’m on a Z790 Hero also. Managed a stable 5.5ghz P core 4.3 E core 5ghz Cache. The voltage a little higher than what I’d of been happy with at 1.38v but llc level 4 means it’s well below that under load. In stress tests it doesn’t go over 90 degrees, so in gaming I’m expecting good temps.

Good job. Mine hit 93 at 5.6 all core. The cpu is fast enough at stock. I'm happier to tune and run cooler to reduce the fan noise

Yeah I doubt I’ll run with it daily depending on temps, but even then lowering it a little will have no real noticeable difference I bet. I prefer better temps overall.

What power figures are you seeing? It’s certainly not as bad as I thought it would be.

Well running with MCE disabled enforces limits so it won't go above the 250w or whatever it is. For what i do i hardly go over the 100w. A bit of gaming and using it for work.
For what it's worth try the TVB 2+ profile instead of the sync all cores and see what you make of it. It locks most of my windows use at 5.7 and pushes light loads to 6gzh. Hardly any temp difference over the stock settings. It doesn't add much to cb23 scores but hey ho....

TVB +2, what’s that exactly? I’ve tried the limiting power to 90 and to be honest it’s extremely efficient whilst still very capable.

Terminal velocity boost. Under a light load the 13900k with boot to 5.8. Tvb +1 would boost to 5.9 +2 goes to 6.

Normal operation it sits around 5.5 so this moves to 5.7

Ah ok. I’ll give that a go just to try it out. Is it just a setting in the bios I’m looking for?

I enforced all limits and set a -0.05v offset
That's all I did. All P cores hover between 5.4 and 5.5Ghz

Cinebench run scored 39,140 after the full 10(?) mins
Temps never went over 86c

I get annoying crashes in games though, not all the time, but every so often and it's related to my ram. They stop if I disable XMP. I had fixed them by giving the ram a bit more juice on top of the XMP profile but I recently updated to the latest bios and now giving the ram the extra 0.05v isn't fixing it anymore. I get the feeling it's simply a **** motherboard and I'd have been better off getting a decent Z690 board instead of this budget (still expensive though) Z790 board. It's the Asus Z790M Plus D4. It's an entry level Z790 board, but I needed mATX and it's pretty much the only option. Tempted to get rid and go for a Z690 board and DDR5. I'm guessing all the bugs have been ironed out of the Z690 boards by now and I can get a decent one for less than this cost. I know the ram isn't the problem as it's been fine for years on previous builds.
