£14 for a dominos!!!

Is that over the top or what :eek: :(

Seriously though, don't you think 14 quid for a domino's is a bit over the top? I was in Vienna last week, and there I got 2 uber-sized pizzas (larger than a dominos!) for 14€, which is roughly about 8 quid!!! Why can't we get that here...
 
Yes £14 is way too much.

You can get a very nice 50p pizza from sainsburys or tescos (forgot which one), obviously it's not going to be as good as a Dominos or something, but it's better than paying £14 for it!
 
Avoid getting it delivered from Dominos and collect it yourself - usually they have a buy 1 get 1 free offer for collections! (Stick one in the fridge for the next day - cold pizza yum! :D )

yeh its hideous.. it tastes good... but not worth it really.

id rather goto my local italian "andreas... savino's" and get a bucket load of home made stuff for a tenna.

best pizzas in the world.. even better than italy. i think its £3.50 for a large pizza... any flavour..

its not just pizza though, its everything... the seafood is amazing.. its mainly seafood orientated...and fresh vegetables... but pastas and lasagnes.. the originals are superb.

My first two weeks at uni (freshers week and lazy week) my flat blew about £1000 on pizza. Now we wonder why we cant afford anything :p
 
5 of us. We had it pretty much every meal :p Warm and fresh for dinner, cold from whereever the box landed on the floor the next day. :)
 
The solution is very easy!

Say your buddy wants a £14 pizza from Domino's, you offer to collect it and bring it to him for, say, £10. You bring him the pizza and get one to keep the other for £4 :)
 
Pizza is waaaay overpriced, and it isnt even THAT nice. For £14 you could have an all you can eat buffet in red hot(in nottingham)... mmmm ...
 
At about half past ten tonight I went to Tesco for some beer and haggis and it was full of students buying Pizza.

There's a Pizza Hut next door which was nearly empty. I nipped in for some garlic bread with cheese :)

Dominoes really do suck, cant stand their pizza's but gimme a Papa Johns pizza with a ortion of chicken dippers and im happy:D...one of the best pizzas ive tasted even better than dominoes and that other palce....oh yes pizza hut who cant deliver me a fully cooked pizza:(
 
Dominoes for the absolute lose.

Look hard enough, like a proper student should, and i BET there's a decent pizza shop nearby that'll do "large" pizzas on Buy one Get one Free for about £8.

Pizza Hut is as bad, £2.50 for a soft drink refill but what if you just want 1 glass of coke.

And that £9.99 is pap, a smallish pizza and some cheesy bread, we all know what its like when you take kids for a meal they want something different from you.
 
theyre full of unhealthy crap in them as well, I go to some local decent ones - large 16" pizza for 7.99 which can have most of the toppings you want already. Not saying theyre healthy but dominos is like maccie ds....just total crap
 
Hey all,

Yeah i ordered dominos recently.......OF the Web of all places, I was looking for the number and you can actually order of the Dominoes website, I thought that was a new and did.

They delivered pretty quick, pizza was disgusting, well overpriced, but it filled me up !

£1000??! In 2 weeks?!? A few quick clicks on my calculator tells me you spent approx. £71 every day just on pizza??! :eek:
