140mm fans

Corsair ML140 Pro's, those magnetic levitation bearings really are the bees knees. Running 7 in a 780T case and it's so quiet but make sure you run them through a proper PWM circuit.

MLs are a very expensive way to go. There are many fans that perform as well or better for less money .. but as I said before, "Depends where / what you plan to do with them."

I just got the cheaper version the non Pros ( I think), two for £23 and they are great.

Any chance I can be cheeky and ask for the best one/s in each category? :D

I’m looking at the non-pro Corsair ml140 dual pack.

Listen to this guy, he knows his fans.

From a personal point i searched for silence with half decent airflow and can vouch for the Arctic Cooling Silent series.

Front intake for the case meshify c, the two pack of the non-pro ml40 is £23.49(£11.75 per fan) at a competitor.

That is reasonable enough price. I don't know i there are any harmonic vibration issue when mounted in Meshify. Not home atm so can't do much.

My favourite used to be the ML PRO but I have to say that I am slightly less convinced because the prices seems to have risen sharply compared to other fans. The advantages of the PRO are that they are pretty quiet, good pressure, huge RPM range and they used to be mid price. But now they have lost their "mid price" appeal so honestly I would be tempted to go for Noctua instead. Noiseblockers are very good as well, although I haven't had any experience with their 140mm range. Noctua and Noiseblocker are on a different level when it comes to noise.

I ended up going for 2x of the non-pro ml120, so 3x front intake and 1 for rear exhaust.
Will test them on the aio(fractal design s24) to see what the difference is between the stock fans and the ml120, if it’s a good difference might order another pack of the dual pack.

Did consider the bequite silent wing 3 as they give similar performance but are quieter, but they’re £20 per fan
