Hey guys,

For some reason I didn't realise when I bought my single rad that the slot on which its going is a 140mm and the rad is a 120mm.

I like the rad I have as its an xflow and I can't see it anywhere else as a 140mm so id rather keep it and use it over the 140mm space.

Now my other issue is that id like to keep a 140mm fan there as... it just doesnt seem right putting a 120mm there.

Is there a way in which I can accommodate both of these?

Not really what you're doing, but Noctua do a 140mm fan that fits in a lot of 120mm spaces.

This may work
Screw your rad to the 120mm side (May have to cut down the screws which came with the rad)
And the fan to the 140mm side then the fan to the case

It isn't really what the adapter is designed to do however. Dont know how heavy a radiator is but the adapter is only plastic

I thought of doing that but I was concerned about the weight of the rad compared to what the plastic can hold. Its a single 'stealth' rad so its smaller than the normal stuff but whether that makes it any different in weight (id have thought but you never know) I don't know.

I may just have to bite the bullet and go for it. Of course, do I really want a rad falling onto my graphics cards... Probably not...
