Purchase Timeframe: Before 8th October 2025

Budget: 1300-1800

Usage: Work and light gaming

Preferences: Intel Core i7 but preferably Ultra and so that means a socket 1851 motherboard. Sadly I have to have Intel for work purposes. Also 32mb RAM & 1 TB ssd

Current Hardware:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz 4.01 GHz
RAM 16.0 GB
Windows 10 Business installed 05/11/2020
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060
Realtec high definition audio card
Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500GB
RM1000 power supply
Peripherals: I already have a 1440 Asus screen

Special Needs/Requirements (inc Wi-Fi): should include WIFI and I have to have Windows 11 PRO (not home)
I thought that I might re-use my current tower case (its a Thermaltake - but not sure which one) and the blue tooth connector but not much else from the old system.

PS need to add thermal paste. Anything else that I have missed?

Does your case allow for a bigger AIO? A 240mm won't be great, nor quiet, and is usually outperformed by an air cooler, that often are quieter.
If the case allows for it, go for a 360MM, or get yourself a decent air cooler if you're not set on AIO's.
Does it need to be Intel? You can build a very decent AMD system for the same money.

Intel for work why ? And what's the most demanding thing you do on your pc ?

Gen 5 m2 is a waste of money unless your transferring files to another gen 5 m2 , time is money scenario.

PSU is pants .

Very rare that you need that nowadays, almost all coolers include it.

If this is for work purposes I'd get the 265K instead of the KF, so that you have a backup with the integrated.

The integrated is not great for gaming, but more than good enough just to display your spreadsheets or whatever, in the event you had to RMA the graphics card.

How casual is the gaming?

If your gaming is serious enough to need a 5060 Ti, I'd strongly recommend you buy the 16GB version. The 8GB card is already bordering on obsolete and just not worth the compromise for the small saving.

1 X MSI PRO B860-P WIFI (LGA 1851) DDR5 ATX Motherboard - £189.99
I've done zero spec comparison here, but on the face of it, that seems like a really expensive B860 board? Is there not a better equipped Z890 one?

Can you find out? Would help us check compatibility.
