Hi,

I've just bought a new gaming pc but because my old monitor is still 1080p, I bought it with a 1650 super.
The idea is to wait a few months until the new GPUs come out and then get a new one (thinking of whatever replaces the 2080 super).

I've been reading a few topics around here about monitors and seem to have conflicting ideas about a 34 inch screen (being too low in height). I'm tempted for a 38 inch screen but worried that the pc may not run it at good rates (I wanted around 120hz.. am I being over demanding for this spec?).

So just need advice on what sort of monitor I should be going for. I see the LG 38GL950G-B seems the best option but I won't be able to afford £1500. Ideally, I'd be looking at around £1000 tops. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
