1440p 27" G-Sync Monitor.

Hi! So I am finally looking to make the switch from 1080p to 1440p. As I now have quite a powerful rig (GTX 1080, Ryzen 1700) I think it's time to make the most of it with an upgraded monitor.

So yeah, this is going to be solely for gaming, what I'm looking for is 1440p, 120-144hz and G-Sync.

I don't really want to pay any higher than £550 as that's the top of my budget. There are so many different monitors out there with mixed reviews so it's been hard deciding on my own.

Can anyone help me out and point me in the right direction to a great one?

I have been looking at the S2716DG closely so it's funny you should all recommend it. Might go for it as it seems to have very good reviews in general as well.

I have a question regarding G-Sync... Does it just fix screen tearing or does it also help smoothen out FPS drops and little stutters? Be good to know is exactly what it does.

Thanks for the replies. Been a great help. So before I think about purchasing. A GTX 1080 is definitely good enough for 1440p gaming yes?
