My Dell is officially knackered, so I need a new secondary display. It's only for displaying teamspeak, steam friends, temps and other stats so quality is really unimportant. Just want the same size and pixel density as my primary, and coming up to Xmas I am decidedly skint.

Any recommendations gratefully received!

Well, the cheapest seems to be the AOC Q2778VQE for £220. But checking this would have taken less time than what it took writing your post, so are there really no other requirements other than resolution and size?

If you're shopping outside of OcUK, then there's also the Hannspree HQ271HPG, which costs roughly the same, but is also IPS (although this is tied to image quality, so it shouldn't matter).

Well yeah, pretty much. I have a spare 24in 1080p display sitting around but it drives me nuts how the pixel density is different and makes dragging windows back and forth irritating. I also like the extra real estate for various chat windows. Id quite happily have gone 2nd hand if I could have found one cheaper but they don't seem to be on the market.

So basically wanted to know if I was missing any hidden gems besides what I had found (eg some weird Chinese non brand display that was actually good). I don't usually shop outside of ocuk so it has been a shock that basic filters like resolution seem to be nonexistent on places like the rainforest. Makes finding what you want virtually impossible. Cheapest I found was some aoc display for about £200 so I may as well get it from ocuk and get free shipping and know that I have a decent returns process if needed.

I do like an IPS panel but I don't know what Hannspree are like in terms of QC.
