Looking for a good 1440P build to offer some longevity.
Budget is €3000 max.
Do i need a 7800x3d or intels equivilant the 13700 or whatever?
Or would i be fine with a 7700x? im thinking AM5 platform best for longevity.
As for GPU i was thinking a 4070 but im concerned about vram limitation hence maybe a 7800xt or 7900xt?
Do i need water cooling or is air still good enough? ive always gone with air so far.
Thanks for reading, open to suggestions, budget is €3000 max prefer if les but again i want to future proof as best i can.

Your budget is big enough for the 7800X3D, so no need to ponder.

As above.

For AMD AM5 you can go air, for a 13700K or 13900K, water is advisable.

This is a 7800X3D/7900 XT 2K build, that I just posted in another thread.

It would be fine for 1440p.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £1,962.38 (includes delivery: £0.00)

Cooler: this (under £50).

For the 3K build, all I would change is the graphics card:
