Hi all. After years of happy gaming, my rig is now starting to show its age. I've upgraded it piecemeal over a few years, but I think it's getting to the point where I need to upgrade the GPU, monitor, CPU and MOBO. My current games run at a solid 60fps, but I'd like a QHD 144hz monitor and everything that would be needed to drive it!

The current set-up is as follows:
  • i5-4670k 3.40GHz
  • MSI Z87-G45
  • Asus ROG Strix RX480 8GB
  • 16GB DDR3 RAM (Kingston HyperX Beast) @ 2400 MHz
  • Corsair 600W CX Series 80
  • Samsung 500GB SSD, plus a 1TB HDD
  • 24" Acer HD monitor
  • Zalman Z3 plus ATX case
Ideally I'd like to keep the case, RAM, SSD and PSU, so I'm really looking for a solid CPU, GPU and MOBO. PSU can be upgraded if needed but hopefully 600W should be sufficient. Thanks in advance!

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £690.06 (includes shipping: £11.10)

This is the sort of set up you would need to drive QHD 144hz though if you also need a monitor included in the budget you would ideally need another £350+
You would need new ram as everything nowadays is DDR4
You could sell on your old mtherboard CPU and ram to put towards a new monitor.
