I've got a 4k monitor (https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/LS27A800NMUXEN/) which so far has been okay with gaming, the caveat being I had a 970 so I've been running everything at 1080p. Now I have a 3070 and while a fair number of games will be great at 4k, some are better at 1440p.
The issue is that 1440p is much darker than either 1080p or 4k, the entire screen in games is about half brightness at least. Is this just a symptom of misaligned pixels or something to learn to live with in the cases I run 1440?
One example is Hunt Showdown where 4k high isn't quite enough FPS. 1080p looks bad, 1440 looks alright but is just so dark.
