Is there a 25-27 inch IPS/VA screen that is 1440p and can be overclocked to 75-80hz without frame skipping?

Dell u2515h would be perfect but I heard it cannot be OC'ed beyond 60-65 hz range without frameskipping

freesync/gsync = no need

acer/asus gaming junk = plz no :D

Thx for the comments. I have tried the AGON AG352UCG but the ultrawides just ain't for me.

I ordered LG 27MB85R-B, because of the very positive reviews and opinions all around, however I may have made a mistake, because I was sure the monitor can do 75hz refresh rate (as per specification:

  • Horizontal Refresh Rate
    30 - 90 kHz
  • Vertical Refresh Rate
    56 - 75 Hz
However someone told me that it can only do 60 hz refresh rate in its native 1440p resolution.

I may return it, of course, but that doesn't make me less of a moron if that's true. Can anybody confirm? For a second I thought there's the dream monitor for me, but if it's not 75hz, I screwed up.

EDIT: to answer my own question - https://forums.evga.com/DEAL-ALERT-LG-27MB85RB-27quot-1440p-AHIPS-44999-m2396870.aspx. Yeah, I screwed up. Damn.

Should have tried u2515h, some users supposedly got it OCed to 80hz without frame skipping.

Just a quick update: I managed to cancel the order for the LG and purchased Iiyama XUB2792QSU-B1 instead. 1440p 75hz native Freesync IPS with excellent reviews - for a very nice price. I hope this one will fully satisfy me.
