infornt of my PC
Im shortly going to buy my 24" screen
However at the moment the max resolution of my graphics card is
1440x900.

I will change the card soon but wondered what the current resolution would be like on a large screen.

Will it be any worse than using my 19" WS at the moment?

that cant be right..... your max resolution in windows is prob 1440x900 as thats what your current monitor allows but when you plug in your new monitor all the higher res options will open up....

even an ancient old card from 10 yrs ago will go up to 1600x1200....

ohh ok, Just so I have this right,
The monitor I have is limiting the res to 1440x900
So a 24" screen will display at a higher res and that should be ok to look at.
