the links dont work for me buddy, i normally go on screen size once ive found the type i want, depends what you do, do u sit near the screen or far from it? i'd go for the 24" if your close or if your far'ish back go for the 27". all i can say without working links sorry

links fixed for you:
24" http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-088-BQ
27" http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-074-BQ&groupid=17&catid=1120

24" is 144hz, 27" is 120hz
for the price go for the 27" tbh , same screen/tech really just bigger size. the extra Hz on the 24" isn't a game breaker.

have you considered the Iiyama Prolite GB2773HS-GB1 144Hz 27" http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-110-IY&groupid=17&catid=1120

cheaper but read the review

I went for the XL2411T as it's slightly newer than the XL2420T and is a slightly better monitor for gaming according to reviews. Loving it so far, definitely helps on cs and the likes.

Can you post your settings please?, mine is being delivered soon, thanks.

Got the 144hz BenQ for christmas. Its a great monitor but has its good and bad points.
Its really smooth and fast and the 120hz is great. I have a 7990 card though so 144hz doesn't work for me. Its a known problem.
Picture isn't as good as my other 24 inch monitor.
Its amazing for Online FPS and racing games though. I play a lot of CS so its perfect for that.

I'm still trying to get my settings sorted, only had it for about a week now. Out of the box it's far too contrasty and washed out. I've been on a few different forums trying to find the best settings but as it sits right now my settings are
Brightness: 30
Contrast: 50
Sharpness: 7
Black eQualizer: 12

Still a little washed out but I'm working on it.

source for this?

If it's newer why is it cheaper?

He's right. The styling is far more bland, hence cheaper, but it's a better, more responsive monitor.

That's the best review/comparison I came across between the two monitors before I bought it. I don't mind the more bland looks as it feels understated and classy to me :D +I prefer the look of the stand on the 2411T

I've got my digital vibrance set to 85% along with my settings. It was mainly for cs but it helps with everything else also.
