Might be upgrading to a new monitor soon and have my Eye on the Dell S2716DG.
I haven't used G-Sync / 144hz before and am curious how well it plays with older titles or windowed games?
For example, Eve Online I play maximized windowed mode so I can alt+tab to a browser. How will this affect things?
I assume Windows will run at 144hz and the game will as well? Assuming my 970 can keep up?
What about older titles, such as 4X games like Civ 5? Is it simply a case of having the refresh rate in Windows set to 144hz and G-Sync will automatically take care of the v-syn options?
