Hi, recently bought new parts for my PC, the original RAM was faulty and i got it RMAed and sent a new set. Only this time i keep getting BSOD, so after updating all drivers etc i ran memtest86+ and in under 3 minutes (yes 3, not 30) i get near 15000 errors all at once. Is this even possible? I might add that its fine browsing internet etc, only when i power up a game, 10 mins later it just BSODs.

Would you be able to upload the image somewhere else I don't want to have to register at a different forum to see the image.

What memory is it, can you give the specs of your whole system?

If it's 1066Mhz RAM try bringing it down to 800Mhz and see if you still get errors.

Check if Legacy USB is enabled in the BIOS, if it is disable it and re-run memtest to see if the errors persist.

After doing those report back, thanks :)

Try the above. Also, what voltage do you have with the RAM. Another thing you can do is try a different version of Memtest. If you don't already have the newest, then download and use that.

Ah disabling USB Legacy worked for the memtest thanks. The RAM is 1333mhz and is at the correct voltage and timings.

Yeah i'm still getting BSOD, on another forum I uploaded my dump files for someone to look at but so far has been unsucessful unfortunately. It origionally looked asif a driver problem but that's becoming less likely.

What CPU, Ram and mobo do you have?

OCZ Platinum 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C7 1333MHz Dual Channel Kit

Asus M4A79XTD Evo (Socket AM3) DDR3 Motherboard

AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 955 Black Edition 3.20GHz (Socket AM3)

hmmm shouldnt be any problems, what were the BSODs saying, if they all end up pointing to memory then I would RMA it again.
