Hmmm, I think I must have just got a rubbish one.

Mine can only manage 2.53ghz @ 1.45v with the asrock dual sata.

Mine aint stable at 2.8 any more. Sold my GC last week, got a new card this morning and for some reson the processor wont clock to 2.8 any more at 1.42 V. Any ideas? Was thinking about giving it some more voltage but im not sure if this will just make it worse. Seems fine at 2.6.

2.8ghz 1.42volts stable.

2.9ghz@ 1.50volts fails prime after around 3 hours so im sticking with 2.8

superPI fails at 3ghz 1.52volts in about 10 seconds

dont know what stepping mine is but it passes everything, all 3dmarks, all superpis, memtest etc... but prime dont work.

so far this one has never crashed. :confused:

You got a good Opty there helpimcrap. 2900MHz isnt shabby at all.

It seems that 2800MHz - 2900MHz mark is the new 'norm' for Opty's. Seems that the newer ones are pretty decent.

ive got a feeling that my CR-RW is naffing it up. seems to be struggling for power a bit which it shouldnt with a 485w enermax. crashes when using one cdrom so i should disconnect it really.

I dont have any pix of the CPU but batch number is the last four digits on the third line of the code

The line that most people hide then. There is no point really in doing it tbh. It was covered up on some cpu's there were samples, or pre-release cpu's and covering up the 3rd line of code, just protects where the cpu has come from really.

Us people who buy retail versions dont really need to cover anything up.

Can you get anymore out of it ?
