146 & Stepping....any good?

There's an opty for sale at my dad's work, his boss said to make him an offer for the chip.. It's only even been ran at stock, so should be good.
ok I've got no idea about steppings etc that are written on the cpu, what i want to know is, would this be a good processor??

unfortunately, thats a Socket 940 Opteron. The true server chips. They aren't particularly good clockers as they use the Sledgehammer core. They also require ECC memory.
