14th Gen "Raptor Lake Refresh"

Gibbo stated they have 'plenty' of stock.

Yeap I'm pretty confident they'll have stock for everyone that wants one. It's exactly the same CPU as a 13900K, just with a 200Mhz bump that's hardly noticeable even in benchmarks. No chance of being able to notice it yourself in games/applications.

Seems like its just a 13900ks thats better able to handle higher memory capacities at speed

14700k reviews look good. Almost/pretty much 13900k performance for ~£400 isnt too bad.

The rest of the line up is pretty meh. The 14700k almost makes the 14900k redundant, and makes the 7950X look kind of expensive if you are thinking about a new build.

Hi there

All pre-orders shall ship today!
We have 100's in stock on each model, we won't be running out ever and as the prices are same as 13th gen pretty much these will quickly replace them sales wise.

In short:
14900K matches or beats 13900KS for less money
14700K matches or gets close to 13900K for less money
14600K is a little faster than 13600K for same money.

All have superior memory overclocking and far better support for larger memory capacities, its a very minor bump performance wise but the prices are the same.

Thank you! Is this included for overseas orders?

Another dumpster launch. Intel are simply not top dog anymore. If you are already on the platform, sure, it makes sense from 12700 or whatever. New build? Nah.

??

The 14700K is now easily the best bang for buck cpu for a new build no?

It is a few percent shy of the top dogs, yet costs significantly less.

Its not that Intel are not top dog anymore. They just have proper competition now. What they have been doing for years during the AMD Bulldozer days, Intel cant get away with anymore.

Similar performance in this game but the intel power draw is another level.

Temps are terrible on both the i7 and i9. This with 360 aio.

GamersNexus don't agree , say " desperate and weak launch".

You have better upgrade path with AM5 route with 7950X, am I the only person disappointed with the 14th Gen?.. Anyway glad I went with the Ryzen 7800X3D and not wait :) .

Btw I'm still concerned about the heat and the power usage is on the 14th Gen ie 14900k getting 100c with thermal throttling on a water cooled system on one of the online reviews (Hardware Unboxed).
