15 or 17 inch

I currently use a Mac Book at but will be upgrading to a Pro very soon.

Would you go for the biggest screen possible, or is 17" too large for a portable?

In an ideal world what would you buy? And why?

Well, i appreciate all the advice and viewpoints. I've decided on 15", and with the money saved will up the spec that little bit more.

PS Acer's are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to laptops. Never buy one people!
