Morning all,
Looking to get a new laptop (up to £1k) which will be powerful enough for fairly intense video/audio/photo editing purposes at 1080 resolution. 50% of the time the laptop will be used with external peripherals so good connectivity (at least 3 USB ) would be required.
I've been thinking of getting a gaming laptop, somewhere along the lines of a Lenovo Y510p, but have got a massive dislike of using a laptop with an offset keyboard, i.e. one with a numeric keypad.
Unfortunately, based on my (admittedly fairly restricted) search, it seems that the only laptops which don't have numeric keyboards nowdays are either less-powered ultrabooks, or macbooks, neither of which are ideal.
Questions:
Can you think of any other laptops which would be suitable for my needs, without the numeric keyboard?
Am I the only person out there who hates these off-center keyboards?
Cheers for your time and responses guys, much appreciated!
Bru
