£150 Android phone for the Mrs?

Looking for a 5" screen phone with a MicroSD slot for less than £150 to replace the wife's Vodafone Smart Ultra, any recommendations please?

I've been eyeing up the Xiaomi Redmi 3 and Redmi 4 Pro (Prime?) which look decent, any other recommendations please, and anywhere better to buy from than Aliexpress? The 3 is around £110 and the 4 around £130 from a quick look. Cheers.

Aren't they all a 5.5" screen? The Ultra is just a little bit too big for her, hence trying to find a 5" phone instead.

That looks great, although unfortunately the code seems to have expired, keeps telling me it's invalid.

Just been reading some reviews on the Gigaset and it seems to be plagued by the good old Snapdragon 810 overheating and throttling problem, will investigate further and see if there's a firmware upgrade to help as there has been for some other phones.

I've ordered the Gigaset, seemed very rude not to for £105, nothing else I can find compares to it at that price.

Has anyone got one and can comment on support, firmware upgrades, etc?

Its a bargain price at £105 same CPU as the Nexus 6P a £400 phone

The Moto G 3rd gen still gets very good reviews and is likely to get Nougat soon. I just bought the G4 but, as stated, it does have a large screen. Lovely phone though.

It comes with Android 5.1...

Cancel the order and get something with Android 6 at the very least. Moto G gets my vote.

The Moto G3 is slower than her current phone, the G4 is too big.

Just noticed its now £159+£10 top up though so it must have gone up a bit, maybe worth popping down to your local EE shop to see what its priced at as when I got mine the ticket still showed £229 until I got the lass to check on the till.

The Gigaset is on its way, too late to cancel now, she wouldn't know the difference between any of the Android versions anyway.
