£150 Graphics Card

Is there anything better VFM at the moment that the pre-order price on this MSI 6870 Hawk. Looking at some reviews it seems as if its a very capable card. Now take into consideration that the main game that will probably be played is Black Ops at 1920 x 1080 and probably Battlefield 3 down the line, is there a better VFM option, especially as 2 x 6870 in crossfire down the road will be a force to be reckoned with.

Given the current state of video games (remembering that PC games are restricted by the consoles of today and that there is no new consoles planned any time soon) I think it's kinda crazy to spend any huge amount on the current crop of graphics card. just over £100 and plays all of the games very well until the next wave of consoles in a couple of years time. There is a LOT of overkill going on at the moment within the GFX card market.
Get a bargain, enjoy the current games and save your money for when the time comes for a REAL upgrade (i.e when the new consoles arrive)
There really is no need for spending loads on a new card at this time.

Thanks for pointing that card out, I have gone and got it after toying with even buying a 6950 2gb! The thing that pushed me in the end was the simple fact that I am only just getting back into PC gaming, after using the xbox for so long - if this card becomes a bit slow for me I can always sell/upgrade without losing too much money and if not then I have what I need for a very good price!
