my current monitor is http://www.hannsg.com/EU/EN/Products/Legacy%20Products/Common.aspx?productId=70, I've had it for years now (probably about 6) and want the benefit of more modern technology and better resolution.
I'm looking at spending around £150. Now a friend is toying with selling his Iiyama ProLite E2607WS-B1 @£140 is that worth going for over new one? I've not got much, if any, experience in the monitor world.
I'm a primarily a BF3/SWTOR player, with the occasional hour on World Of Tanks and soon to be GW2 player.
As a side note how come companies seem reluctant to produce 16x10 monitos these days? I've been reading some of the threads on here and it seems to me that most people would prefer 16x10 over 16x9. I don't get why if there is such a strong demand for them no producer seems to go down that route?
