Okay so after much deliberation, i've decided to go custom but really don't want to buy one of OCUK's ready kits!

The loop will cool the CPU only which is a phenom 955BE @3.6ghz currently.
The loop will fit inside my Antec Mini P180 case but i will mod it to enable it to fit a 240 rad or two single 120 rads.

Heres what it must have:

*compression fittings
*white tubing or UV reactive tubing
*pump must be small and ideally part of a cyclindrical resorvoir.

What i don't need is FANS! I have fans already that i can use on the rads so that should save me some monies.

I'm expecting cleeco to wiz in here and spec me
Something amazing right about now lol

Thanks!

I haven't a clue about tube sizes or what compression sizes fit which tubes so please make sure what you post is correct!

You're both legends!

Thank you very much, would have taken me a few days to reach that spec with research!

Quick question, do i need the bridging connectors for testing out the pump out of the case? Can't i just run the pump and the loop off a molex connector hooked up to my psu already in my rig before i dis-assemble it?

Change of plans guys!! I need two 120 rads, thick ones preferrably to cool my cpu as i can't fit a 240 rad. Tried modding the case but it's still no good, too much hassle!

Can i have two 120 rads in 1 loop?

Also i noticed the LTX block doesn't have any AMD sockets supported, does it actually support AM3?

Hmm it actually works out cheaper if i get the EK 120 kit then buy another 120 rad and compression fittings.

Can i still use those compression fittings in the list with the EK 120 kit?

Okay ill check specs tonight and if you could check it over and confirm it for me, i'd appreciate it.

Cheers!

Are you sure guys? I would mount 1 240 rad but like i said i cant mod my case to make it fit unfortunately.

Would a better pump be required?

Also would i benefit from wider tubes or does my current tubing with the kit suffice?

an EK 4.0 pump with the tube combo sounds good for £60 odd.

Okay going to look into more before i purchase, seems i am going over my £150 budget!

I'm only changing the tubing because i don't want to use the clear stuff and the UV blue additives. I rather use Still water but have coloured UV tubing.

Aslong as the tubing will fit the EK-PSC compression fittings then that's good enough for me :D
