Hi, but what I really, really want is the Lian-Li A10A, can someone tell when it will be in the UK at OC, or a suitable and similar alternative?

If it's what you really want, then the word on the street is that grey imports will be available in December and the official ones in January or February.

That is pure gossip though and they could be here tomorrow for all I know.

As for alternatives, I can't think of anything better, even given how expensive it is (~£150).

If that's what you want then I'd wait.

Ok thanks for that WJA96, neither can I think of a better case and neither has anyone come up with alternatives - yet.

Perhaps you could suggest something alternative, such as was my request, thus your first post wasn't much help was it?

Hi, thx guys, given me some interesting stuff to read up on.
Having done so I have reached the folowing conclusions:

1) There isn't much of a better made chassis then Lian-Li, they certainly know how to work with aluminum you only have to see their desks to know that ...

2) The G70, v2000 are probably non-contenders due to their size, I want mine on my desktop.

3) V1000, yep on my list, but if only it's possible to remove those wheels and put on ordindary feet.

4) Thermaltake Armour, the joker of the pack. Can't see where it says removable motherboard tray, there are plenty of drive bay spaces, fans and lights. But I don't need a noisy, christmas tree....

So I'll wait until the end of the year, I know the A10A is out in the states, lets hope it soon here...
Thanks again,
ChrisC

Hi, thanks for your suggestion, perhaps third on my list as it doesn't have a removable tray, not so sure about the 'upside down' motherboard and the HD mounts aren't suppressed like the A10A...

Keep it up folks, all of this is making interesting reading....
