$150 Upgade

Hey guys!

An associate of mine living in Canada wants to make a $150 upgrade on his old PC. He intends to improve his AOE3 performance by as much as he can with this money.

Roughly speaking how would this money be best spent. Exact equipment to be bought would be most useful. Here is the information I extracted from him:

Personally I think he should save his money and invest in an entire new machine but I don't think he will see this as an option.

If you can make some helpful suggestions it would be very much appreciated.

Also, what you say about RTS games is true. However, AOE3 is also one of the most graphically intensive games around.

OK, I have passed on the recommendation of that CPU, albeit from a different seller.

Could someone please suggest some suitable RAM too?

Would two of these be OK for his system?

I can't seem to find system RAM that isn't DDR2 and 533 Mhz, except for laptops.
