Crossfire if you can and yes you can get a second hand 5850 for less than £90. I got my replacement for £85 from the bay.

You could get a massive increase for < £80

+1 This. Get another for Xfire you won't be disappointed. Driver support on 5xxx + 6xxx series is stronger than the 7xxx series for Xfire atm.
