It is, especially as you have a 7850 which has massive overclocking potential, it would be a crime not to unlock that extra performance for the sake of 5 seconds work.

my i5k is at stock as asus mobo overclocks/underclocks it for me without the phaffing around

just bought one of these cards I'm 40 soonish so it's my birthday treat lol

that and everything I can get on this momentus year from my wife

You can't get one for under £150 though!

With a strict £150 budget it's gotta be a 7850, then overclock the hell out of it.
