£1500 budget spec me please

Buddy of mine is after a PC , I've already specced him one up but wanna see if you guys can do better. Although I don't have the list to hand right now so can't show.

He has a budget of £1500 needs keyboard, mouse and Windows but I'll get him Windows elsewhere so leave that out. No monitor needed.

He will be using for gaming plays literally anything; FPS, rpg, strategy racing. What can you guys throw together for me?

ATX form factor, and no AIO's, it's his first build and I don't think it's worthwhile adding the risk of a leak in to the equation.

Part of the RAM heatsink is removable (just the very top) in case clearance with the first stick is an issue, which is a nice touch from TeamGroup. If he uses slots 2 and 4 I think no need anyway.

I cheated because there's no keyboard and mouse. You do get £35 cashback to help a bit there.

Can get better bang for buck with less expensive case and cooler, and 550W PSU and i5-K if no SLI's ever going to happen.
