£1500 build. Everything needed.

I considered that screen however I read that its colours arent great and I would rather have 60hz and better colours than 120hz and poorer colours. Unless im wrong? Im guessing my motherboard and cooler were overkill?

with tweaking the colours isnt that bad

way overkill, unless u're looking to overclock and bench for epeen.
imo its more sensible and better value to get solid parts and aim for a good, 4.4-4.6ghz, if not spectacular overclock.
the money you save can be put elsewhere like peripherals, no point cheaping out on periperals imo

I care not one jot about benching for epeen. I'm just looking for 60fps at 1080p with as high quality settings as I can. With that monitor being 120hz I'm really going to be aiming for 120fps as often as I can which I assume would need a 2nd 7950 down the line? Also if I wanted to stay at 1080/60fps would 2 7950's be overkill?

Seems to be some talk around at the moment that the AMD cpus arent as bad as they seemed and tend to trade blows with the i5? not sure how accurate that is only seen a couple videos so far. Also with Skyrim being a heavily CPU dependant game would it therefore be safe to assume Fallout 4 will be the same way? If so thats something to consider as those games are a big reason im moving to PC. Anyway had a quick look around and saw that trimming back the SSD to 128gb and going over budget by 100 (really pushing it) I could add a 2nd 7950 right now. Also the AMD motherboards seem to have dual PCI 16 slots whereas the Intel ones ive looked at seem to have a 16 and an 8. Does this make any difference? Anyway its probably not the way to go but here was what I was thinking of

My other AMD related theory is if consoles are going 8 core then games will be coded for that and would take advantage of them more? That probably makes no sense for obvious reason to people who actually know what they are talking about. Which I really dont.
