I used Beejs suggested 670 now (faster and id hope quieter) as the EVGA is no longer on offer, shorter warranty as we discussed it's your call which you use. 600W is ample on the modular PSU for a single GPU setup and saves a few quid now as the 700W has gone up in price by £10.

You have double the storage capacity at 2TB on a eco drive. The RAM is just as good and cheaper as well, lil flash maybe but it's good bang for buck. I'm not sure if the Alpenfohn cooler comes with paste but this Coolermaster alternative does :)

Hope this helps. Oh did I mention the developers copy of windows 8? You could save the £80 till later in the year and choose between win 8 or 7 depending on price or what suits your needs then ;)

Ahh saw this after I'd pressed the button. Not to worry though I'm happy with what I've ordered and the price I'm paying so no complaints here. Ended up going with the before 12 delivery as I'm at work tomorrow afternoon. I just hope it turns up early enough or it will be a trip to the depot on Monday :-(

Glum, you didn't wait long for a reply lol

Still a nice spec though I agree. Couple of top tips now, the Z9 case has the power button disconnected. It says in the manual to connect it but some people have been bemused by it :/

When you do the install of the OS, set the sata options in the BIOS to ACHI and only connect the SSD, leave the storage drives disconnected till the install is done on the SSD.

Look forward to hearing how it goes :)

Thanks for the info. I'd seen about the power button on the customer reviews, some people just don't like manuals I guess ;) I didn't know about the ACHI setting so cheers for the heads up. I'll have some time to read the manuals whilst at work tomorrow if it arrives before I need to set off. Quite a lot of new tech (and abbrieviations) have appeared since my last build so I'll not be rushing into it.

I'll post once the build has started, hopefully Saturday will be the day.
