He's a starting point. 6700k, 16gb of ram, gtx 1080, 500gb ssd and a 2tb hdd for storage. I left a bit of room in the budget for the OS or if there's a specific more expensive case you have your eyes on. power supply is ok, but you can stump up for a gold one if you want a little more efficiency. Also I just picked the 1080 that I like the look of, still a bit of a question mark over which is the best bang for your buck. (some would argue that none of them are good bang for buck )
