£1500 gaming laptop

I'm looking for a (gaming) laptop, 15" preferably, for no more than £1500.
I have/can get NVMe drives and RAM for cheap, so they are not a priority spec. Unfortunately, these seem to scale with other components.

Any suggestions on at least what manufacturer to look at to begin with?

Currently has 17% off but again, smaller SSD for the money.

However, you could save some cash and get the ASUS TUF FX505DV which is better spec'd. Comes with 512SSD and 16GB RAM and according to the specs, has Freesync...with a 2060...this unit though can be had for sub £1k if you hunt around. I would try and avoid the 1660/1660Ti as the 2060 is quicker and there are options around.

There is the MSI GL73 but is has a smaller SSD and the screen is bigger than what you wanted

The MSI GE63 has 17% off but again, smaller SSD for the money. I'd seriously consider the ASUS due to what you get for your moneys worth.

I can't really comment on that to be honest, I'm just basing it purely on specs and previous posts. The ASUS TUF units though have solid reviews, if that helps. a lot of kit for the money.
