hi ive got £1500 to spend on a laptop and id like to be able tom play games etc so will need a powerful machine. Ive looked at the pegasus 520by roch and the alienware m17 and the asus M70VN-7T003G, with the roch and alienware ones i chose the 2.5Ghz processor and the best other things i could afford anyone have any suggestions??

hi thanks but no way am i ever buying a dell again. i bought a second hand dell xps gen 2 and the graphics card has busted over 4 times just while ive had it let alone before hand, and now, last week when iu sent it to be fixed they sent it back with a broken motherboard and expect me to pay £400 to fix something they broke, under UK law they have to fix it and im still fighting them via e-mail as im not home while theyre open so im not going to use them again.

im looking at the Ultima Mobile - 15.4" WSXGA Laptop with the T9500 4Gb of ram 320Gb Hard drive Vista home premium and the default dvd drive total = £1313.23 which looks quite good, of course it doesnt have the TV tuner or remothe offered by some others but looks good. Anyone got one with a similar spec and have any advise? I it as good as it looks?

um.. it looks ok, not sure i want to wait ideally id like it b 4 xmas but unless i order in the next couple of days thats impossible.....

it needs to be a laptop but weight and size are not an issue, im building a desktop at the same time which will have over 3Ghz processor and 4Gb ram etc but id like a machine for the move aswell as i go to and from school everyday and have spare time to use while m there and the Fujitsu AMILO PRO im using atm is so unbelievably bad, i hate everything about it, it's slow, the mouse pad is awkwardly positioned and too sensitive and i wouldnt want a similar experiance again!
