the ones everyone are raving about atm are :
Samsung LE40R74BDX (£1280 online)
Toshiba 37WLT66 (£1235)
Sony KDL32S2010U / Sony KDL32V2000U (£980 / £1300)
Panasonic TX32LXD60 £905
JVC LT37DR7SJ (£1269)
obviously the sony and panny are 32" as opposed to the rest which are 37 or 40 inchers.
But the Tosh is getting rave reviews from lots of owners on forums. as is the samsung and the Sonys. And the panasonic and JVC are both well featured in the magazines at the moment. JVC won the 32" group test in T3, and the panasonic gets a rave review in home cinema choice
as for which one, they're all very very similar
best bet to pop down to No competitor talk please! and take a look at them all in the flesh and decide which you like the look of best. Sony have a 40 incher, but its £1700 so out of budget, and i dont think panasonic have released anything larger than 32" in their new range, but i know another one is due as they're just in the process of updating the range.
