£1500 ultrabook ?

£1599 IIRC. (nearly $2700, we brits certainly pay a premium) I only went with the top model because i wanted the bigger battery and SSD. Buying the cheaper model and fitting my own SSD was going to cost just as much so I just went with it. Could have had something faster and cheaper, but then i'd have ended up sacrificing battery life. The dell seemed like the best middle ground between build quality, performance and battery life.

Just wanted to say I went for the MSI Ghost Pro (4710, 870m, 16gb, 1tb + 256) and it is a lovely piece of kit. Very fast. Have Watch Dogs running on Ultra. Very light and portable. Gets a little warm, but with the desk cooling stand it the GPU hits about 85c after an hour of intense gaming. In normal desktop mode, the fans aren't even noticable. Plus boots up in about 10 seconds.
