It's funny. I don't recall the T-1000 in T2 Judgment Day using his mimetic metal alloy technique to burst his man pants.

I've done some relative comparison work and the length from the top of his alarmingly high hair to the bottom of his terrifying chin is 2 feet and 4 inches. This makes him approximately 17 feet high so it's surprising that he didn't win the race with such a huge advantage.
