This weekend i will go to the garages and test drive it. Does anyone know if i need to bring any proof that i can afford these cars? Bank statements? And what about insurance? Thanks to anyone that can help. Cheers.

QUICK TO THE INTERNETS

Go speak to a financial adviser, then go to a couple of luxury car forecourts, then have a think, don't listen to the internets.

Why would anyone even think about asking a forum about a purchase of goods valued to £150k, it beggars belief.

Are you going to continue to ignore peoples posts? I have asked you a genuine question and I would appreciate it if you answered it. :)

If you really have just inherited a million quid you wouldn't give a flying **** what nasty people on the internet though, quite frankly.

And you would buy property, becuase I doubt you live in the nicest house you can afford right now.

I dont care what nasty people say, but i want to stick up for myself and not let the keyboard warriors defeat me. The first thing i did with the money is BUY A HOUSE, what else would i buy? I live with my parents at the moment and when the house is finished i will move in ASAP. Thus, if anyone has lots of money, im sure 90% of you would, 1) Buy a house and then 2) Buy a car. Am i right or wrong?

I actually didn't ask anyone on here or anywhere actually, I bought it in an afternoon when I was in a good mood and posted a picture. Some people did seem to mistake me for a baker though because they kept requesting bread based products. If I had £150K right now i'd probably buy a nice selction of classics rather than a supercar.

What car did you buy?

May I ask; how did you come into this money and if you dont mind, how much?

(Related to the topic: The AM DBS is what I'd choose, personally, because its got some sort of 'class' to it as opposed to a "I own a Ferrari look at me".)

I didnt say that i would TAKE someones advice and actually buy what they suggested, i was just asking for ideas and opinions on what they think i should buy and what i can get for that sort of money. I have already spoke to a financial adviser, thanks.

The DBS was the first one i looked at (on website). Ohhh its sooo nice! Lovely Juvely! Definately on the shortlist :D :p

Sorry Minxy. I have a double garage to store two cars if needs be.

Cheers.

Cool thank you. In which case I am all for you buying a car that you like but please look for something you genuinely have always wished for because that is what you should be looking at for that kind of money.

All I'm saying is....don't ***** the money for the sake of it. If you want an R32 then buy one. Don't turn into a poseur.

Even if I had just inherited over £1m, I wouldnt buy a 150k car. 150 thousand pounds on a depreciating asset? No thanks.

1 million isnt even enough to live on for the rest of your life in relative ease without working at something..
