150W enough for i5-3570s

Loading the CPU with Linpack will take the whole system to about 120 W, which is fine.

The GPU claims to need 30.5 W, so if you did some gaming at the same time as 100% CPU usage you might well exceed the PSU rating.

I'd probably go ahead and cautiously test it with a power meter before buying a new PSU, because depending on your usage it could be fine.

ok will give it a go.. it wont be used for gaming, i could always revert to the onboard video. cant get new psu for its its bespoke to the case (i think).... Then again if OCUK have those Bitfenix ITX cases on offer again... who knows

Does the psu actually have 150w available on the 12v rail though? Is it a power brick or proper psu? If a proper psu does it have a label on it with a breakdown of the power output?

***Edit*** Just found some info on the psu. It has 10A on the 12v rail so 120w. If you load the cpu up it's going to be close. I would use the onboard gpu if it's not going to be gamed on.
