Dude, relax. OzZie said just what I was thinking as well. Most residential service is sold on the speed of the downstream. Upstream is frequently much slower. Perhaps you should call your ISP and see what they think you should be getting for your upstream speed.James07 said:What!... i do get 6mb... i hover between 6100kbps and 6600kbps
Do you not know anything about the internet? Im on 8mb and i get 6mb usually...

I have a D-link G604T wireless router.fothsn said:The slow Downstream SYNC shouldnt affect the wireless signal on the router it will only affect the download speed, The 10 day training period shouldnt be a factor in your problem you should get the full service after 3days of being put on BTMAX. Most likley its due to a BT exchange upgrade.
Ive just noticed in your other post your SRN is 5 this is considered low, do you get frequent dissconections? This link will help if this is the case http://www.dslzoneuk.net/socket.php?type=html
What router do you have?
This link should tell you if your exchange is overloaded and will tell you of any upgrades are due on the exchange http://www.nildram.net/support/tools/congestion_checker/
