1660ti or 2060

My 970 packed up last week, i'm desperate to get another GPU but would prefer to stick with Nvidia. I have an old Benq 144 monitor that I use for fps but play all my single player games on a 60 hz panel as the colours are better. Have a clocked AMD 2600 and 16gb memory.

Looking at the following two cards which are in my budget,

If I sold the cod key it wouldn't be that much of a stretch to get the 2060 but is the 1660ti much better quality ?

If it's a placeholder for an upgrade at a later date why not 1660 super that has just released? Better value than the 1660 Ti. Obviously not in the same league as a 2060 mind you!

Otherwise money is better spent on 2060 at £299 from us or consider an AMD 5700.

Thanks Guys, seems the 1660 Super is a better option value wise but the 2060 maybe has a bit more grunt. It is just a stop gap at the moment, I really wanted to get a 1440 monitor but alas Brexit has really affected my industry for the last 18 months and things are have not been "stable" at work. I'll have a think on it thanks

If its a stop gap, get cheaper card.

A 1660 SUPER at £199 is good value, MSRP is £209, so even in a few months time they won't get much cheaper unless pound strengthens a lot. Whereas 2060 stands a chance to get cheaper, though the £285-£299 deals we've done is quite aggressive, but can certainly see them dropping in value more than a 1660 SUPER, particular on second hand market.
