The next speed down is 1866MHz but it offers liitle extra performance for the extra cost, as with the 2133MHz RAM. 1600MHz is really the sweet spot. Also you'll want low profile RAM if you have a big CPU cooler. Two of these Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit £39.95, low profile or G.Skill RipJawsZ 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual/Quad Channel Kit £79.99, fairly low profile or Kingston HyperX Genesis 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual/Quad Channel Kit £79.99, low profile But if you do want to try something a little faster: G.Skill RipJawsZ 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 PC3-14900C9 1866MHz Dual/Quad Channel Kit £109.99 Last edited: 3 Dec 2011
