16meg Sky broadband?

tbh all u cable customers thinking of moving to sky/bb

dont, cable is a lot better than any adsl package imo

why would u want to move from a nice stable fiber network

to a crappy old 1950s local loop with smelly alu/copper line

35 for 10mbit from Telewest seems a bit heavy now too! Essentially i paid 35 quid for a few yrs now and originally it was 512k i think.

Id pay £50 a month for 10MB cable - seriously, ADSL is often VERY flakey tech. Its probably down to individual experience but I even gave telewest a ring to ask how much cable dug from their nearest green box would cost (they end pretty close to my house) and the guesstimate of £150 has me seriously considering.
Cable>>>>Adsl in my experience.

i have to agree

cable>dsl

cable is a lot more stable than dsl, with dsl slightest things knock the connection out

if i could get cable id be off like a shot

Most definetly, i can count the times i lost service in the last 2-3yrs on one hand and not longer than a day, prolly drop connection once every two months or longer, has impressed me in that aspect.
