Looking at finally upgrading to hardline cooling and just wondered what people are using for 90 degree bends on the 16mm tubing?

I'd rather not using two fittings and a 90 degree g1/4 block. I know bitspower does the 12mm 90's that don't require two fittings but who does 16mm 90's?

So basically I'm after a 16mm version of this:

They don't make it in 16mm I believe. I ordered all my bits for 12mm build but then I seen the tube is tiny so I swapped them all out for 16mm. No luck finding the 16mm 90 so I had to double up on a lot of fittings.

Thanks Dempsey, that's what I though, I love the compactness of those bitspower fittings but want 16mm tubing.

Ive always had larger tubing, 1/2 or 7/16th and that 12mm stuff looks small. I hate small!! I have an 800d FFS

Im doing in a build in a core P5 and when i reicveied the 12mm tubing and fittings I immediately said these will look stupidly small. One thing I noticed is I can't fit 2 x 16mm fittings on my D5 pump top as the fittings hit each other, I didn't have that problem with 12mm fittings.

Save yourself some money and just bend the tube... personally I don't get why everyone's up for adding 30 fittings to a loop instead of a 30 second job to bend it.

Not as difficult as you think in my opinion.

Bending hardline tubing inst hard, but its time consuming if its the first time you have used it. But a lot cheaper than doubling up on a lot of fittings, and makes the build look cleaner overall

I agree with this, but I also don't see using fittings being THAT much easier anyway. You still need to precisely measure tube lengths, otherwise things won't line up, or will be pushed off line so all tubes will be running at odd angles, which will look terrible. It's rare I see a build that actually looks really nice with extra 90 deg fittings everywhere... glass tubing probably being the exception.

I found somewhere with 16mm copper in the UK so might have to just take a gamble and order it... about £50 for 6m of it, 3m is probably plenty but always good to have spares...
