17" Imac leaked?

Very interesting, i think it will do well, would be ideal for kids and students!

EDIT, a quick read on mac rumors suggests this may be the white model and apple still sell it

I don't know but I hope it is actually going to happen.
17" fit everywhere quite well and are well priced.

Didn't they used to make a 17" iMac that was phased out? If it went then what is there to suggest one would do well now? (Bar everyone now not buying everything on credit )

They did indeed, back in the white plastic iMac phase. I'm guessing predominantly for educational purposes, but perhaps also for a cheap(ish) mac?

Is primarily for education as it around $899 mark, think Apple initially phased out 17" as it did not sell well.

It's a perfect teenager bedroom Mac. 15 inch bubble shaped iMacs have done extremely well in that market niche, and phasing out last 17" imac was surely a mistake. The imac belongs in teenager and student room and the idea tof turning iMacs into $2000 fashion statement on lawyers desk was totally misguided.
