Hi guys,

Would anyone be able to recommend me an effective method of keeping my laptop cool. It is a 17" Toshiba Qosmio and it gets very hot. I use it on a laptray usually but I want to make sure I protect the laptop and my assets from overheating.

I've read a bit about actual coolers and the cooling pads, but I don't know if these can be used in conjunction with each other.

If anyone can point me in the right direction or give me some advice I would be very grateful. If I can get something that can go on my laptray even better! (The laptop fits in the laptray perfectly)

Cheers

I used a CoolerMaster NotePal Infinite with my M1730 and, surprisingly, it actually did lower temperatures.

Also, rip that thing open and get some new thermal paste in there under the heatsinks, and remove any dust or other accumulated junk.
